Speaking of falling rates - home loan refinance applications have jumped +35% from last week.

And they’re up +118% from a year ago.

New mortgage applications are up 3%.

Lot of numbers - TLDR:

  • Huge spike in refinance applications

  • Small bump in new mortgage applications - signals that some buyers may be waiting for the Fed’s September cut to buy.
